Succeeding through experienced tutoring

My Goal

I want to share my excitement about math with my community! I love tailoring topics to match my students’ interests, and watching that inspire them to engage with the material.

Tutoring with me is about working with the material to thoroughly understand each building block and progress to comprehension of the basic tenants of each student’s class.

My Background

I’ve been tutoring students in STEM subjects since 2018. I graduated from UNC-CH with a degree in Quantitative Biology, and I’m passionate about math as a way of understanding the world around us.

My Interests

My interests include ecosystems and interactions between species, making the best cup of tea, knitting and crochet, listening to audiobooks, and trying to optimize everyday things using unnecessarily complex models.
